Enjoy wines made in honor of Minnesota magic from local winemakers and far-flung fans. Extending the summer vibes as long we’re able, this week features hot-off-the-grape-presses and delightfully high-quality Saint Croix Vineyards juice, plus an eco-conscious tribute from our good friend Andrew Jones.
Saint Croix Vineyards
Minnesota-made and made-for-Minnesota! Itasca is the latest cold-hardy grape variety released from the award-winning University of Minnesota enology and grape breeding program. For more than twenty years, the U has been focused on developing grapes ready to survive and thrive in our particular region, with emphasis on world-class quality to enliven the definition of Minnesota wine style. Saint Croix’s Itasca is low on acid but full of flavor — quince, fragrant pear, white pepper, rich lemon, and an elegant nuttiness.
Top Ten loves local, and we’re not the only ones. Lady Slipper is an Andrew Jones joint chock full of state spirit. This canned baby features sustainably sourced California fruit with a mindfulness for mother Earth and a penchant for bombastic flavor. A buoyant, frothy mouthfeel frames ripe apricot, peach, guava, and pineapple with a light dusting of tajín. Take ‘er down the river, into the woods, or anywhere your Minnesota adventures lead you.
Enjoy these wines anytime thru August 11th at any of our Top Ten Locations.
