Contessa Annalisa’s Carino Grande is unabashedly semi-sweet, but with a slight bit of tartness and structure to keep it balanced, and well-applied barrel aging to elevate its style without losing its breezy charm. Definitely an update on the ubiquitous jug wines, Carino Grande brings juicy berries and stewed plum, black cherry preserves, and soft vanilla bean on the finish — a supple pairing for brisket.
