We hope you take every opportunity to celebrate this year, and we’ve brought in a new line of Kosher wines to help with the festivities! From semi-dry to sweet, sparkling pink to barrel-aged red, these wines from Italy’s Contessa Annalisa are treated gently to preserve their aromatics and fruitiness. Soft and cheerful enough to have with casual party fare, they also compliment some of our favorite staples on the Chanukah dinner table.
Semi-Dry Sparkling Rosé
Slightly sweet and fruity with a light, gossamer bubble, Silver Sky is quintessentially festive for any celebration. A pretty salmon pink in the glass, its aromas of white peach, strawberries and cream, tart lemon candy, and delicate flowers are highlighted on the palate with additional berries and mandarin orange. That slight creaminess and balance of sweet-tart fruit make it a spot-on pair for fried jelly donuts.
Barrel-Aged Semi-Sweet Red
A smooth and crowd-pleasing red might be our most frequent request for holiday family gatherings. Contessa Annalisa’s Carino Grande is unabashedly semi-sweet, but with a slight bit of tartness and structure to keep it balanced, and well-applied barrel aging to elevate its style without losing its breezy charm. Definitely an update on the ubiquitous jug wines, Carino Grande brings juicy berries and stewed plum, black cherry preserves, and soft vanilla bean on the finish — a supple pairing for brisket.
A completely classic Moscato, down to the blue bottle. If that blue hue has been known to catch your eye, you won’t be disappointed here! From the fluffy cloud pour to the waves of honey over fresh peaches, it has the feel of bottled nostalgia. A low ABV tradition for holidays around the world, Moscato’s pretty florals, unmistakable peachy profile, and easygoing finish make it as good a fruity pair for latkes as apple sauce.
