This week I’ll give you great picks to make your Easter Holiday, a beautiful and memorable event. First a word about what kind of wines we are looking for with this holiday meal. With a cured ham, I like a fruity white with a little residual sugar. Not too much, but a very dry wine with ham is not desirable. The Vouvray Demi-Sec is perfect with its apple, peach and pear appeal. The Vouvray Sec is crisp and dry. It’s like biting into a Honeycrisp apple! All of the wines on the list today come from the Feray Family, one of the Loire Valley’s largest and best producers. The Chinon is a classic Loire Cabernet Franc with ample fruit and soft enough tannins for Chicken, ham or even lamb. I highly recommend these wines. It’s what I’ll be drinking this weekend.Stop in on Saturday between 1PM and 4PM at any of our locations and see what we are raving about!

Cheers! -Bill the Wine Guy
