Spring has sprung according to the calendar. We at Top Ten are looking forward to a great season and are busy filling the stores up with the perfect wines. 2017 is shaping up to be the year of Rosé and every winery in the world is anxious to have you try their pink.

We have a perennial favorite for you in the Commanderie de la Bargemone from d’Aix in the South of France. I can’t think of a better example for less than $25. Torrontes is also going to make a move to wine’s mainstream. Fresh, crisp and tropical, there is so much to love in the Colomé. Finally, the Gayda Grenache Blanc-Viognier blend is such a friendly white for all kinds of food. Fish and fowl will pair well, and you’ll amaze your friends and family with the fact that you celebrate the season with such a tasty wine from Southern France.

Colomé Salta Torrontes 2016
We're Getting Fresh “Torrontes is the signature white wine of Argentina, dating from early vineyards first planted in the 1800s. DNA research has shown that the varietal is a cross between the Mission grapes of Galicia, Spain, and Muscat of Alexandria. This popular expression of Argentina is growing in acclaim around the world, popular for a light, refreshing wine with Muscat notes redolent of jasmine and orange blossoms. Excellent as an aperitif, it also finds a welcome place with delicate first courses.” – Winemaker’s notes
