I guess I’m over the epic collapse of the Purple Dream. For all you Packer fans who live to experience schadenfreude, you can’t ask for more, can you? Maybe You can. Anyway, I hear there is a big game coming up this week and there will be some folks who might need some cool wines to make it a party. If you need some bubbly to celebrate your team’s victory, try the Mionetto Prosecco. It has a nice fruity pear flavor and a mild finish. Put some Pama Liqueur in it to make it red or some Midori in it to make it green.

We like to spice up our game fare with both Asian and Mexican treats. For that stuff, I like Riesling and there aren’t too many better than the Kung Fu Girl from Charles Smith and the state of Washington. Also from Mr. Smith, The Velvet Devil Merlot is an excellent choice for game grazin’. A smooth and friendly red. Enjoy the game.
