Sierra Nevada always does a great job brewing beers. Their Celebration is one of my favorite seasonals they produce. This year, they threw together a terrific 12 pack made up of all fresh hopped beers! You get Celebration, a Session Fresh Hop Ale, a Fresh Hop IPA, and a Double Fresh Hop IPA. Perfect little package for this awesome set of beers.
And Now, the Brews
|Sierra Nevada | Fresh Hop Session IPA|
|Smells of fresh bitter hops. When you take the first sip it blasts you with great tropical fruit. Mango and passion fruit take over your mouth. Sierra uses the Strata hop, a new variety, which offers a super herbal and dank quality. Still very light on the bitter hop flavor for this is still a fresh hop. Nice light finish. A little grassy, touch of golden love. Perfectly sessionable.|

|Sierra Nevada | Fresh Hop IPA|
|This is Sierra’s version of a hazy IPA. Amarillo hops give great fruit and that blast of grapefruit flavor Amarillo is known for. Much bolder than the Session, as it should be. Extra hop goodness coming from the massive amount of dry hopping in this brew.|
|3 – 12 oz Cans | 6.4% ABV | 58 IBUs|
|Sierra Nevada | Celebration | Fresh Hop IPA|
|Sierra first brewed this beer in 1981. This is one of my favorite winter brews and one of Sierra’s most popular seasonal releases. This ale is way more malt forward then the others, offering great hop flavor, with a slight malty sweetness that gives this IPA the perfect wintertime twist. I love it! Drink it while you can.|
|3 – 12 oz Cans | 6.8% ABV | 65 IBUs|
|Sierra Nevada | Fresh Hop Double IPA|
|Purely made with Simcoe hops this one ranks as high as the rest. Pungent piney dank goodness. Grapefruit and huge citrus flavors erupt in your mouth. Double the ingredients and double the fun|
|3 – 12 oz Cans | 8% ABV | 67 IBUs|
This whole box really offers it all. Limited time releases that are only available in the Fresh Hop Variety Pack, with the exception of Celebration, their current seasonal. I hope you all enjoy!
