Ska Brewing is a big West Coast style hopped up beer company, and I love it. With all this talk about lower ABV and Lower IBUs, this one fights back. So here we go.

And Now, the Brews

Ska Brewing | Modus | Mandarina IPA
Ska-ModusMandarinaCan
This citrus IPA is dry-hopped with a bunch of Mandarina Bavaria hops and brewed with sweet orange peels. This is a good beer with a nice touch of sweetness. I guess, this is a fruit beer but it is not very fruity. When drinking this, all I think about is how well this would go with Pad Thai. I give this beer 4 out of 5 bottle caps.
6 pk Cans | 6.8% ABV | 88 IBUs

Ska Brewing | Modus Hoperrandi | American-style IPA
Ska-ModusHoperandi-Can This IPA has a deep golden color. It’s a big hopped up beer that is bitter, and I love it. A big West Coast IPA. This beer goes well with the new Doritos, white cheddar. I give this 4 out of 5 bottle caps.
6 pk Cans | 6.8% ABV | 88 IBUs

Ska Brewing | Decedent | Imperial IPA
Ska-Decadent-Can I saved the biggest IPA for last. The Decedent Imperial IPA, and when I say “big,” I mean it. Huge citrus aroma prevails from the beer. Mounds of fresh hops and caramel malts explode in your mouth. Just a little boozy-ness, but what do you expect from 10% ABV? I love these big beers. This beer goes great with a box of raisins. 5 out of 5 bottle caps.
4 pk Cans | 10% ABV | 80 IBUs

That it for now until next time.
