Belinda Jensen says we are behind in our precipitation and I haven’t seen the sun for near a week so I am very much ready for some warmer spring weather!!! It’s time for asparagus and ramps and I found a handful of Morels. I just about have the garden set for summer veggies and the grill is getting regular use.
Springtime wines are flowing like beer at our house and I have a couple of favorites for you. Some are new; some are old and trusted bottles. I’m sure many of you also love the Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc/ Viognier blend. The wine is so easy to pair with food as it goes with salads, poultry etc. The Felines Jourdan has been a favorite for years now. The tasty little Picpoul is a steal from Claude Jourdan, one of the hardest working women in the wine world! Lastly, nothing is hotter as a wine category right as red blends and this one is a home run! Bordeaux varieties in the Yakama Valley of Washington make up this outstanding red. My new grilling buddy! Let the sun shine!

|Classic minerals and citrus flavors that dance lightly on the palate. This is the perfect wine for seafood, salads or patio slamming! It so over delivers for the money it’s absurd. Buy by the case!|
