And Now, the Brews

Urban Growler | Cowbell | Cream Ale
Urban Growler Cowbell Cream Ale
If you want something to quench your thirst during a hot Summer day, grab a Cowbell. This is a light, easy drinking beer that goes well with the hottest Summer days. I enjoy the fact that its light with a slightly dry finish. If you’re wondering what a Cream Ale is, it spawns from the American light lager style, brewed as an ale, though, sometimes finished with a lager yeast or lager beer mixed in. Adjuncts, such as corn or rice, are used to lighten the body and giving it that creamy texture Cream Ales are known for, hence the name. This beer will go well with a Sweet Corn on the cob hot off the grill with way too much butter and salt. I give this 4 out of 5 bottle caps.

Fair State | Du Pounde | Saison/Farmhouse Ale
Fair State Du Pounde Fair State recently won the best brewery and the best beer with their newest beer, Curation, at All Pints North the other weekend. That’s pretty cool and good for them. Du Pounde, on the other hand, is a great tasting hop forward Farmhouse Ale. I love how this beer tastes, nice bright cloves with light malt flavors and a dry finish that begs you to drink more. When you drink this, you forget about how hot it is outside. This beer simply goes well with everything you may be eating. 5 out of 5 bottle caps.
4 pk 16oz Cans | 5.5% ABV | 25 IBUs
