Oh, to be a kid again. Waking up Easter morning, searching for your hidden baskets and candy filled eggs, not a care in the world except for what the next egg’s treats has in store for you. Luckily, as adults, we can have some type of nostalgia with beer! This week we’ve teamed up again to give you a variety of brews that, with any luck, will send you back to your childhood.
Happy Easter from all of us at Top Ten Liquors and the Brew Bros Blog!
And Now, the Brews
|Ballast Point | Bonito | Blonde Ale|
|Hop into my Easter basket, Bonito Blonde Ale! Another fantastic beer from Ballast Point Brewing out of San Diego, California. Great fresh aromas of citrusy hops. This terrifically crisp Blonde Ale is accompanied by a perfect mild hop flavor, flowing into an incredibly clean finish. Uncle Jim will love it, grandma might even have a sip, and even your snotty nosed brother will definitely approve.
Recommended pairing: The Sunshine on a spring day surrounded by people you want to be around.

|Kasteel | Barista | Chocolate Quad Belgian Ale|
|It’s hard to celebrate Easter without a little chocolate and this beer just might fill that void. Barista is a cross between chocolate, coffee, and a beer, and a Belgian Quad is a perfect vehicle to combine those three delicious ingredients. The nose has a touch of rich roasted sweet malts combined with the yeast, chocolate, and coffee. With a higher carbonation than most beers, there are fantastic flavors of the sweet chocolate, coffee, nuts, clove and a little bit of banana (typical of the Quad style). The alcohol is pretty well hidden and at 11% you’ll be believing in the Easter Bunny in no time.

|Tin Whiskers | Dynamo | Chocolate Orange Imperial Stout|
|Dynamo should be at every Easter egg hunt for the adults when it’s over. It’s a big Stout that has just the right amount of chocolate, and orange to remind you of chocolate orange candies if you’ve ever had them.
