Bank Brewing | Smoke Bomb
Bank Brewing, out of Hendricks MN, makes a superb smoked ale.  Clocking in at 7% ABV, it pours dark black and begs to be a fall favorite.

Fair State | Lichtenhainer | Smoked Sour Wheat Ale
FairState Fair State Co-Op Brewery, out of NE Minneapolis and soon to be also brewing in St. Paul as well, goes the funky route in their interpretation of a smoked beer. Their Lichtenhainer is a sour wheat ale that uses beechwood and oak smoked malt, and is 100% barrel fermented.  Fair State is being showered with awards for their beers, so don’t miss this one—they’ll fly off the shelves.

Heller-Trum Brewery | Aecht Schlenkerla Urbock Rauchbier
Aecht Schlenkerla Urbock Rauchbier (Smoked Beer) from Heller-Trum Brewery out of Bamberg, Germany which has been around since 1405, combines the sweetness of a bock beer with complex notes of beechwood smoked malts.  If you want to try the original, this sets the bar for all others.
