View of vineyards on Goose Ridge a premium wine growing area of the famed Columbia Valley Washington USA
Standing in the vineyards that Chateau Ste. Michelle uses for its Indian Wells wines, you feel as if the only green things in the world are grape vines. Patches of green in a sea of brown, you realize it is located in the middle of a desert, yet here the vines thrive and makes delicious, concentrated wines. The Cold Creek Vineyard is oddly named since it’s regarded as a warm site. The vines are 40+ years old in some blocks of this meticulously laid out operation run by an expert crew.Chateau Ste. Michelle has been a leader in Washington wine for decades and with their vineyard holdings, attention to detail and commitment to quality, they will continue to bring us excellent wine at great prices like the following.-Bill The Wine Guy

Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Chardonnay 2013 Columbia Valley
“The Chardonnay delivers an appealing tropical fruit character typical of warm sites like the Wahluke Slope. I like this Chardonnay’s ripe pineapple and butterscotch flavors and rich, creamy texture. Try it with scallops, scampi or pasta with rich sauces.”-Bob Bertheau, Winemaker

Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 Columbia Valley
“The Indian Wells Cabernet is our warm climate ripe, jammy “New World” style of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine typifies the Wahluke Slope region with dark fruit aromas and flavors. Syrah added an enhanced richness and concentration to the wine.”-Bob Bertheau, Winemaker

Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Merlot 2012 Columbia Valley
“The Indian Wells Merlot offers ripe berry fruit aromas and jammy flavors typical of Wahluke Slope reds. This is a full bodied style of warm climate Merlot with a round, supple finish. We added Wahluke Slope Syrah to enhance the mouthfeel and rich fruit character. I call this my pasta wine!”-Bob Bertheau, Winemaker
