Yeah, me too. I really don’t have a horse in this race and TV commercials don’t capture my imagination BUT, I do feel we are witnessing something historic that will never be seen again. Pete Roselle envisioned a league where every team has a chance to go to the Super Bowl and yet one team has gone to four of the last five with nine appearances in the big game since 2001. That is freaky dominance. Who cares you ask? Well, I do care since it’s the middle of another cold winter and I am looking for a reason to drink some wine, eat some tasty tidbits and have a little fun. I hope you feel the same. We are going to have some nice juicy red wine and some fun with a sparkling wine-based cocktail that is so easy, even a Rams fan can handle it! Combine Indigenous Prosecco with the Mathilde Crème de Cassis in a ratio of 5 to 1 wine to liqueur. You have just made a Kir Royale and it is yummy! Enjoy people…

Cheers!
